Township High School District 214 uses an online registration and fee payment process. Once residency verification is complete, you will be able to complete your registration at home or at any location where you have internet access. In the spring, kiosks will be set up in your child's school to assist you. Online registration will begin in June. 

The first full day of classes will be Wednesday, August 16, 2023. As part of the registration process, the parents/guardians of freshman students will be required to provide proof of residency prior to registration. Walk-in residency verification dates and times are noted below.

Along with an original birth certificate, families will need the following residency verification documents to register:

Category A (at least ONE of the following documents)

• Most recent mortgage bill/statement
• Most recent real estate tax bill
• Signed apartment lease from owner/lessee
• Closing statement for the purchase of residence

AND

Category B (at least TWO of the following items)

• Driver's license with current address
• Current utility bill (gas, water, electric, or cable)
• Public Aid card
• Voter registration card
• Automobile registration - State of Illinois
• Receipt for city vehicle sticker

If none of the items in Categories A or B are applicable, you will need to contact the main office at your school. 

Students attending alternative schools or programs outside the district are required to verify residency, register, pay fees, and apply for fee waivers at their respective home school main offices. It is imperative that all students, regardless of where they attend school, complete these processes at their home school. failure to register within the appropriate timelines will result in the suspension of services, including transportation.
