Vicki Chung
Vicki Chung brings to the District 214 Board a diverse background in education, development and community service. She earned her B.A. and M.A. at the University of Chicago, and Ph.D. at Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy. Chung has served as Director of Corporate/Foundation Relations at the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and as a Quantitative Analyst at an education consulting company. Currently, she is the Senior Estimator at a startup.
She served for eight years on the District 57 Board of Education. In addition, Chung serves on Mount Prospect’s Special Events Commission. She also has served on Mount Prospect’s Community Engagement Committee, the Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization (NSSEO) Governing Board, a District 57 PTO and the District 57 Education Foundation.
Across her roles, Chung is committed to prioritizing the needs of the community and looking for ways to increase opportunities for partnership and collaboration. A resident of Mount Prospect for 21 years, Chung lives with her husband and two sons, who attend Prospect High School and Lincoln Middle School.
