Alva Kreutzer
President, Board of Education
An Elk Grove Village resident for more than 40 years, Alva Kreutzer, has served on the District 214 Board since 1999 and currently serves as the Director of the North Cook division of the Illinois School Board Association. She has built a long history of community service, including four years as a Community Consolidated District 59 board member, membership on the Elk Grove Village Community Service Board and Elk Grove Village Zoning Board of Appeals, and PTO presidencies. She is an active member of the Elk Grove Village Lions Club. Her two children are graduates of Elk Grove High School. She has received state and national recognition for her volunteer work and was named a Harper College Distinguished Alumni in 2016.
