Wheeling High School, with District 214, offers a variety of programs and services to students with special needs.
Specific programs include adaptive physical education, individualized resource offerings, the Career Life Skills program and support for students on the Autism spectrum, those who are visually or hearing impaired, and students with physical disabilities.
Services for students include assistive technology, counseling services, educational interpreting, guidance services, occupational therapy, physical therapy, positive behavior interventions and supports, school nursing and health services, school psychological services, social work services, speech and language services, and transportation.
