Course Request Verification 2025-2026

  • How to review and confirm course requests through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal

    From Monday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, February 3 at 12:00 p.m., parents and guardians can review course requests through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You can access the Course Request Verification by logging into the portal, selecting the "Home" or "More" menu, then choosing "Quick Links" and "Course Request Verification."

    For Incoming Freshmen: Parents without accounts will receive an invitation to create their Infinite Campus account starting January 7. If you need technical assistance, please contact your school's help desk

    Review & Confirm Course Requests

    During the window from January 27 to February 3 at 12:00 p.m., parents and guardians can review course placements and confirm or request a level change for core classes. All course requests are final by 12:00 p.m. on February 3, 2025. Be sure to complete the Course Request Verification by then.

    If the Course Request Verification survey is not completed, course requests and level placements will remain as selected. If you have questions, reach out to your student's counselor or Division Head.

    Important Notes

    • Core Course Placements for incoming 9th graders are based on standardized test scores, teacher recommendations, and Division Head input. 
    • District 214 has incorporated the State of IL Public Act 101-0654 known as the Auto-Acceleration Act as part of the course request and placement process for all students' core subject selections. Learn more about the Accelerated Placement Act
    • All Students must enroll in seven academic courses and one study hall.
    • Students with IEPs: Courses will be finalized at individual IEP meetings.
    • Capstone or Academy Courses: Students selected will be notified separately. These courses will not appear in the Course Request Verification.
    • Transportation: Not provided for 0 hour classes.

    Dual Credit Opportunities

    District 214 students have the chance to earn college credit while fulfilling high school graduation requirements through Dual Credit, AP, and Concurrent Credit courses.
    Students enrolled in dual credit courses will be contacted via email to complete their application.
