    Through Varsity Tutors you can take FREE online test prep courses with a live teacher in different formats and lengths of time to meet your schedule (2-week, 4-week, and 8-week).

    FREE ON-DEMAND VIDEOS
    If you prefer to work at your own pace there are extensive on-demand videos and lesson plans to help improve your subject skills, and your test taking abilities.

    FREE PRACTICE TESTS
    There are a number of practice assessments you can use to familiarize yourself with the tests and identify where you need to improve.

Student Instructions

  • SIGN IN TO CLEVER

    • Sign in to your Clever dashboard
    • Click the Varsity Tutors application

    • Select the Subjects drop down menu at the top of the page.
    • Select See All Subjects

    Select the Explore Subject button in the ACT section (or SAT, PSAT, or your AP course). You may need to use the search bar.

    There are options for taking Live Online courses or On-Demand Courses and Videos. Below are instructions on how to access each type of resource.

    1. Sign up for Live Online Courses (ACT, SAT, PSAT)
    2. On-demand Test Prep Course and Videos

    SIGN UP FOR LIVE ONLINE COURSES (ACT, SAT, PSAT)

    Under the Small Group ACT Classes header, select your preferred class format. Options include:

    • 8-Week Prep Class, (8) 2-hour sessions, 1x/week
    • 4-Week Prep Class, (8) 2-hour sessions, 2x/week
    • 2-Week bootcamp, (8) 2-hour sessions 4x/week
    • Ultimate Review Session (1) 2-hour session
    • English & Reading 1 Week Bootcamp (5) 2-hour sessions
    • 1 Week Math & Science Bootcamp (5) 2-hour sessions
    • 2-Week Math Review Prep Class, (4) 90-minute sessions 2x/week
    • 2-Week English & Reading Review Prep Plass (5) 2-hour sessions
    • ACT & SAT All-In-One Prep Class, (16) 2-hour sessions 2x/week

    Select the Enroll Now button by the class you want to take. Varsity Tutors is constantly adding class sessions.

    You should receive a confirmation popup, and a link to your schedule. This schedule can be accessed at anytime under the Tutoring menu at the top of the dashboard.

    ON-DEMAND TEST PREP COURSE AND VIDEOS

    There are two ways to access On-Demand test prep materials and videos.

    1. On the main subject page, Below the Small Group ACT Classes and practice assessments, there should be a number of Units with practice assessments, and subject-specific videos.

    2. You can also access the videos by selecting On-Demand Lessons from the Classes & Self-Guided menu at the top of the platform.
