Make a difference now.
In times of crisis, it is essential that emergency funds are deployed quickly to those who need them most. The current pandemic and its resulting consequences – including job loss – has adversely affected many of our District 214 students and families.
This is our family, and these students need your help.
While typically approximately 1 in 3 of our students live in poverty, we now have even more families with pressing, essential needs.
Your donations have helped us raise nearly $100,000, helping nearly 300 families. But the needs are on pace to far outweigh what has been collected.
We are continuing this campaign to continuously address and help with housing, transportation, food and academic needs of our D214 students and their families.
Your gift will go directly to students and families in District 214, based on the guidance and recommendations of staff who know these families and their needs better than anyone.
But we know we can do so much more than that.
This is our time to show we care. Your time.
Parents and students facing needs because of the pandemic or other adverse situations should contact their school counselor.
