The John Hersey High School Fine and Performing Arts Program endeavors to assist students to discover their creativity, develop unique skills and talents, and become lifelong contributors to the local and global community through the Performing and Visual Arts.

Hoping to inspire lifelong artistry and creativity through theater, dance, vocal music, instrumental music, visual arts, and forensics, Hersey’s hard-working and talented staff, dedicated volunteers, and incredibly talented students form a collaborative team with a vision that has placed Hersey's Fine and Performing Arts Program among the most successful in the state. Hersey’s students have performed and displayed their work in venues across Illinois, as well as nationally and internationally, consistently receiving acclaim for their accomplishments.
