    IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION

    Be prepared when registering

Once a course is in the shopping cart, payment must be completed within 10 minutes to secure a seat. Failure to do so will release the seat for other purchasers.

    One login per student

The Summer Experience registration system allows one session at a time, per student. This means, that a second simultaneous attempt to log in for the same student on a separate device or browser, will result in the first session being terminated.  Continued attempts to log in simultaneously for the same student could result in the system terminating all sessions, thereby hindering successful registration.

    For technical help

Refer to the Contacts page of this website to find the technology help desk contact information for your student’s high school.

    COURSE SELECTION

    General

Students may register for ONE (1) in-person course per three-week session and ONE (1) six-week online course at a time.

Students who are registered or plan to be registered with the NCAA should consult with their counselor before registering for specific Credit Recovery courses.

When a student or guardian logs into the registration system, recommended courses will be shown first, followed by the full summer course listing. Recommended courses include:

    • Courses for which the student received a failing grade and have the opportunity to recover the credit during summer school
    • Courses the student has been invited to attend
    • Courses that have been approved through the counselor review and approval process

    When counselor approval is required

When a student registers for a credit recovery course, the system will check to verify that the student has previously taken and failed the course or a higher rigor version of the course. If the course is not found on the student’s transcript as a failed course, the system will present an option for the student to “Request” the course.  Upon selection of the “Request” option, an email is generated and sent to the counselor (copying the student and the guardian) requesting approval. After review, the student and guardian are notified and directed to proceed with registration if appropriate.

    Academic Questions

If you have any questions about what your student has been invited to attend, what they should be registering for or whether registration in a particular course will affect their four-year graduation plan, please contact your student’s counselor.

    Cancellations

Courses are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. If the cancelled class is offered in a different mode and has seats available, the student will be given the option to take the course in the mode available.

    TRANSPORTATION

Each course selected in the registration process will indicate whether transportation is available and include the associated cost. Students will be prompted to select the transportation option as appropriate at checkout.

For students selecting bus transportation prior to June 3, bus stop and time information will be provided to students the week before classes begin.

Requests for transportation received after June 3, will be considered on a space available basis and is not guaranteed.

Please visit the Transportation section of the website for additional information.
